Courtyard Marriott Lafayette

The hot tub felt more like a warm bath, and the pool was only somewhat heated, but those weren't deal breakers for us. The staff were super nice, and we got an upgrade for just $10 more. We could connect Netflix in the room to watch our show, which was a definite plus. We only stayed one night and already know we'll come back. There were a few minor issues, but it was still a nice hotel, and I'd recommend it.

The room was clean, comfortable, and up to date, so it was easy to settle in after a long day. I also found the staff helpful and friendly throughout my visit at the Courtyard by Marriott in Lafayette, Indiana. It was a pleasant, comfortable stay with a welcoming feel, and I'd gladly return.

The service stood out, with staff paying a lot of attention to guests. Breakfast was unexpectedly good, and having Starbucks available was a treat. The bar service was better than I expected, and people gathered there in the evening. Housekeeping also turned down the room, which was spacious and comfortable, with very comfortable beds. The rooms look a little dated and could use a deep clean. The internet was solid, and I could get work done, with a desk setup that worked well for my laptop. Sidewalks are scarce nearby, but the hotel is well placed if you want to walk or run through the neighborhoods. I'd definitely return.

Guy was working the night shift, and when I took my usual late walk, he went out of his way to make sure we were looked after. He really made us feel at home. The bartender also made excellent drinks, and at check-in the service was excellent and thorough. She made sure my Marriott points were credited, too. My wife and I were in town for a night to see some of her family. I've never written a review before, but the staff were so friendly that the company deserves credit.
