Treasure Inn

There was blood on our sheets, fleas, and roaches in the bathroom. I complained at the front desk around 11 o’clock at night, and the woman said the manager wasn’t there, so nothing could be done until morning. When the manager came in, he said there was nothing he could do because we hadn’t complained the night before, even though we had. This was by far the worst place we’ve ever stayed. If you want a quick, easy hotel or motel stay, please don’t stay here.

We booked a King suite with an in-room jetted tub at the last minute, and it didn’t disappoint. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and it was great value. I plan to come back when we visit Lake Charles again :)

After a day out in the city, my husband and I came back to rest. When we turned the sheets down for bed, there was feces on them. I was mortified and called the front desk right away. The person offered to bring clean sheets for me to change myself, which is not what I pay for at a hotel. He was dismissive and suggested the mess might be ours, even though we hadn’t been in the room since morning and thought it had been serviced while we were out. I asked to move rooms, and things got worse. The new room had other guests outside drinking, smoking, and making a lot of noise. I called the desk again, and was told he couldn’t control their behavior and I’d have to deal with it. I was appalled, disappointed, and disgusted by the stay. It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I’ll never stay with this hotel chain again, and neither should you. Find somewhere cleaner with better customer service if you’re in the Lake Charles area.

I stayed about 4 weeks and had a good experience. The weekly rate was fair, the rooms were clean, and the internet was fast. The shower had strong flow too. The older man and woman who cleaned the rooms were always really nice and accommodating to my needs. I’ll definitely stay at this motel again in the future.
