Motel 6 – Lake City, Fl – Medical Center

We booked an accessible room, but on arrival they tried to put us on the second floor. They'd apparently given away our handicapped accessible room, and my daughter uses a wheelchair. There were no elevators. In the morning we noticed what looked like mouse feces on a chair. The place was run down and dirty. The staff were friendly, and the residents staying there seemed nice. No pet fees.

The staff were attentive, quick, and genuinely pleasant, with flawless service from check-in through check-out. The hotel is an unbeatable value for the price, with fair rates and no unnecessary or hidden fees. Our room was exceptionally clean, with a fresh, modern bathroom, a very comfortable bed, Samsung TVs, a generously sized mini-fridge, and a microwave. There was a cozy sitting area and a useful desk for work. WiFi was fast, stable, and responsive. I highly recommend it for a comfortable, reliable stay. An all-around excellent experience.

The bedroom was huge, and the motel is in a very accessible, convenient location. It's not the newest place, but it's very, very clean and comfortable, with no smells and a clean, comfy bed. The manager and crew were SUPER nice and friendly. You can tell they care about the place and their customers. I'll be back. Thank you Scott and team!!

We came to town for a concert at the Suwannee Music Park, and this will be our place for the night whenever we're in the area. Our room was clean and we felt safe. You can see the place had been sliding back at some point, but it seems to have been rescued. There are signs of the old days here and there, but the improvements are much more noticeable. They look to be working hard to restore the place. And the price? What? Are you kidding me? I'm willing to bet you can't match it. I mean, of course you can, but you'd get all the negatives that come with it. Would you want your family staying somewhere like that? Scott made clear that any riff raff is dealt with properly. This isn't a place for a drug-fueled party; it's a respectable spot for families. Remember, this is a Motel 6 🏨. Scott was the gentleman in the front office, personable and very professional. He checked on us EVERY TIME he saw us outside our room, just to make sure everything was satisfactory and see if we needed anything. It felt like we were at a 5 star hotel.
