Blue Moon Motel

Juan and Blanca were wonderful hosts, and I’ve never experienced such exceptional hospitality. We stayed three nights with our family while attending a wedding and didn’t want to leave. The motel is a short walk to the village, but the nights were quiet. Our rooms were spotless, and the kids had a blast in the pool. The BBQ yard with grills, seating, and cornhole games made it feel like home. It’s a family-friendly place I highly recommend. One of our best family stays, and we’ll definitely be back.

Blue moon was easily the best of the four places we stayed. We’ve been coming to lake George for work four weekends in a row, trying a different hotel each weekend. The owners are amazingly friendly and really take care of their business. Our room was completely clean, the bathroom was perfect, and we’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The room decorations and the comfortable beds made this place feel like home. My daughter and I both slept great. It was clean, and the basic kitchen supplies were there, including paper towels, dish soap, sponges, and silverware. This cute motel is at the end of the strip, about a 7 minute walk to the village. They advertise it as cozy and home-like, and I agree. We only stayed one night, so I can’t rate the service. I wish we’d had more time to enjoy the outdoor amenities, including picnic tables, a grill, cornhole, a basket swing, and the pool.

The bedding was soft and comfortable, with lighter fleece-like blankets and comforters that smelled really fresh. My wife has cleaned hotels and says their blankets often don’t get washed unless they look dirty, so that stood out. The room was spotless, with lovely natural or natural-looking hardwood floors and ceramic bathroom tile. We booked a last-minute room at Blue Moon Motel on Saturday evening for the car show. It was the most beautiful and welcoming motel we’ve ever booked. Each room has outdoor furniture and rugs, and the paths are beautifully lit. There’s a grill and yard with picnic tables, cornhole, and patio seating under lovely strand lights. The owners were very friendly. When I told her how wonderful our stay was, she said they live there too and want every room to feel like home.
