Green Acres Motel

It was so quiet that I got the best sleep I’ve had in months. I also met some regulars and shared a bottle of wine, and it felt very safe for a toddler. The place really feels like a home away from home. My newly renovated room was cozy, very clean, and even better than I expected. Tony, the owner, goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. I’m coming back in two weeks for a family function and expect to become a regular.

The whole property is immaculate, and Tony goes above and beyond for guests. He makes you feel like family. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are so comfortable. I’ll be back soon and recommend it to everyone I meet. Absolutely the best place to stay in Ake George. Thank you, Green Acre Motel. Best trip I’ve had in a long time!

We loved being close to the busier parts of Lake George while still having a quiet stay, and the price was very affordable. The grounds were pristine, with flowers outside the rooms, outdoor games, and a firepit. There’s also a guest kitchen and grill. Our spacious room was clean and had a good-sized refrigerator, microwave, popcorn and containers for a movie night, and a Keurig. The place had more character than we expected, and the little details made a difference. Tony treated us like family, and the staff were very friendly. He was especially kind and considerate when helping us find a room that worked with my last-minute medical injury. We had a wonderful stay at Green Acre Motel and will stay here every time we visit Lake George. Thanks again for everything!
