The owners are very nice and friendly, and the place is quiet and reasonably priced. I’ve stayed here several times. The rooms are clean and decent, with great views of Lake George. I can’t recommend the Austin Inn highly enough. To me, it’s a five-star stay.

George and Colleen have made this a special place for my family, and we’re already looking forward to next year. They’re fabulous, friendly, and helpful, and the pool is sparkling clean. We rented the two-bedroom bungalow cabin. It’s older but super clean, with a full kitchen and a brand-new bathroom. From its spot up on a hill, there’s a beautiful view of Lake George. It’s quiet enough to escape the village noise, while still close enough to get downtown easily.

It felt as comfortable as visiting Grandma’s country house. The bedrooms even have embroidered doilies on the dressers. The owners and staff are friendly and accommodating, and the place is cozy and clean. I had all I needed to cook and serve good meals, and the pool was great. The sheets and towels are plush. Sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs and looking out over Lake George was just perfect. My stay was fabulous, a ten out of ten!

Dogs are allowed for a fee, and there’s a tasty restaurant just a few feet from the motel. It’s an easy walk to the village, too. The room was cozy and clean, with a lake view from the balcony. The owners are friendly and personable. A great little place, and I highly recommend it.

I’ve been coming to the area for 45 years, and this is a great little spot. We came up from North Jersey for a motorcycle trip this past weekend. The pool was super clean, and our room was comfortable and clean. There’s a great little restaurant next door, and town is within half a mile. Highly recommend!
