The location was the only real plus. Our room felt dated, with decor straight from the 60s, and the carpet left the bottoms of our feet black, so it seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The ice machine looked long out of order, despite the ice bucket in the room. The hair dryer didn’t work, the room smelled stale, and the curtains wouldn’t stay shut. I’d spend a little more and stay elsewhere.

The rooms were clean and cozy, and the staff were friendly and helpful, going out of their way for us. My wife and I found Lake George Inn reasonably priced and had one of our best stays there. I’d happily stay again any day.

It's 1 a.m. and I can't sleep because of the people above us. Loud music, stomping back and forth, and people talking so loudly. The walls are paper thin. The AC is full of mold, so we can't use it, and the sink is clogged. Everything feels old and cheap. Never again, don't waste your money.

I booked because Expedia listed a coffee or tea maker in the room, but there wasn't one. The office also doesn't open until later. The ice maker was broken, and the air conditioner was struggling.

The mattress felt about 40 years old, and noise from the other rooms was awful. We also found used cigarettes on the deck, a ripped screen, and a half-empty shampoo bottle on the floor. When we went to complain, no one was at the desk that night or the next morning. A terrible place to stay. Our credit card company gave us our money back. Don't stay here.
