The Georgian Lakeside Resort

The owners and staff were so kind, polite, and professional. Our room was nicely maintained, with little touches like a seal on the toilet paper. It’s a wonderful motel, and the view and outdoor pool are lovely.

I really enjoyed how easy it was to settle in here. There are plenty of chairs and couches around the resort, and it felt comfortable wherever we sat. We could text the front desk with questions, and the check-in sheet with a map and FAQs was useful. There was also room service available, though we chose to explore in person. The pool, cabana bar, and kayaking were great, with kayaking billed at $10 per person. The resort was walkable and convenient for coming and going, and I’d like to return. Our room had a mini fridge, lots of outlets, and enough surfaces for our things. It was updated and clean, though the walls were thin, especially with people passing by to use the stairs near our upstairs room. Parking in the garage was easy, with access to the stairs. The place looked pleasant and modern, although it was a little hard to spot among the huge signs for neighboring resorts. Food was tasty but nothing special, and service sometimes gave the same impression. The staff were otherwise fine.

It was an easy five-minute walk to the strip, and our family of four had a great time. The staff were helpful, the bar was good, and we enjoyed happy hour. Our poolside room was clean, as were the surrounding areas, though you could spot imperfections if you looked closely. The pool and private beach were highlights. The one thing that surprised me was the food price. I’d never seen a grilled cheese cost over $10, nearly the price of a calamari appetizer down the street. My kids are bougey and chose calamari, thankfully. You’ll pay if you don’t want to eat elsewhere. Aside from that, we had a great stay and would come back. Thanks.

The view from the back seating area by the outdoor bar was amazing, and being right in town meant we could walk everywhere. It was very clean and perfectly located, though it felt more like a small motel than the “resort” the name implies. There’s no elevator, so getting our luggage upstairs was hard, but the staff offered to help. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.
