Paramount Lakeside Inn & Suites

The staff have made our stay here a great one. Everyone has been wonderful, and housekeeping is out cleaning rooms throughout the day. If there’s a bug problem, the front desk will deal with it when you let them know. We’ve been here since March 2025. The location isn’t ideal, but having security on the property around the clock makes up for that for us. The rules are straightforward and there to keep guests, long-term residents, and staff safe. They also explain the deposit at check-in, so it’s easy to understand what’s expected.

There were a lot of roaches, and nobody seemed to clean around the place. The staff came across like carnival workers. They’ll keep your deposit no matter what, I promise. Save yourself a headache and stay somewhere else.

My mother and I stayed for about four days. She really liked the bath, and we enjoyed having a relaxing area to walk around.

I stay here once or twice a year for work at chemical plant outages in Polk county, and it suits that purpose well. It’s cheap, the room has a microwave and fridge, the door locks, and the room is sanitized and pest-free. That’s what I expect from a hotel like this, and that’s what I get. For anyone working nearby who needs a weekly or monthly rental, I’d recommend it. I’ll keep staying here when I need to.
