The room was spotless and roomy, and even the shower was completely clean. The kitchenette had all the utensils you might need. They were doing construction on the second floor, but I never heard it. The hotel felt clean and new, and I had an amazing stay.

We really enjoyed our few days here. The staff made us feel welcome, and our room was a nice size and very clean. Breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel, with eggs, potatoes, mini waffles, breakfast tacos, cereal, yogurt, and more. The big lobby and dining area was a fun place to sit and play the board games they had available. On Wednesday evening they also put out soup, salad, snacks, and drinks, which was a lovely touch.

The Peloton in the fitness room was the one bright spot. The rooms felt very outdated, and the parking near the back rooms didn’t feel safe to me. I had to switch rooms the first night because the refrigerator was so loud I couldn’t sleep. The one in the second room started off noisy too, though it eventually quieted down. The ceiling fan also woke me, which was frustrating since I need complete quiet to sleep. I was traveling for business and my trip got extended, but I checked out and moved to Hampton Inn. They told me free water was only for diamond and platinum members. That kind of thing is why I now go to Hyatt. Hampton offered me two bottles without me even asking. I won’t return.

The breakfast buffet was good, and our soccer team enjoyed the indoor pool. They put our group on the same floor close to one another, which worked well. We had picked this hotel after a lot of research for the Memorial Day tournament, and everyone was happy with the clean rooms and hotel. Each room had a living area, full kitchen, and separate bedroom. There were several teams there for the weekend, with kids around preteen and teen age. The pool rules say children need supervision, but in practice that didn’t happen for this age group, and there were a few problems between groups. I’d suggest making sure an adult is with the kids or having security when youth groups are staying.
