King's Cottage Bed & Breakfast

For our 25th anniversary getaway, the inn was beautiful and we felt comfortable there. It’s just outside downtown, within walking distance of a nice casual restaurant by the Riverside. The proprietors were very kind and helpful, and the breakfasts were second to none.

Our first B&B stay, and we’ll definitely come back. The keepers were kind, friendly, and attentive, and the place was peaceful, beautiful, full of history, and very well maintained. The bed felt like a cloud, and breakfast was to die for. I can’t say enough about it.

So stylish and lovely, with a character all its own. Wish we’d had a whole week to stay.

We had such a lovely weekend for our first anniversary. On arrival, there was a little anniversary card waiting for us, a really nice touch, and the innkeepers were great with local recommendations. We stayed in the Duchess room, which was clean and lovely. It has the original bathtub, and it even fit my husband who’s over 6 feet tall, plus a stained glass window. Breakfast was probably the highlight, with unusual, delicious courses like watermelon and mango with lime gelato, “eggs on a cloud,” and blueberry French toast. We also treated ourselves to massages and were glad we did. Ann and Scott did a wonderful job with our first-ever massages. Get the hour-long one, it flies by. Thanks for such a wonderful stay, ladies. It’s a great go-to in Lancaster, PA!
