The staff were rude, and I was often yelled at about smoking in the designated areas, even though we used them once we knew where they were. Meanwhile, I saw employees and other guests smoking elsewhere. The pool shown in the website photos wasn't open, and when I asked about a lower rate for staying a week, they said no. Most of the employees seemed to live there, and I can't imagine they pay $100 a night. Room service was awful. Nobody cleaned the room during our week there. After five days, I asked about fresh sheets and towels. The manager told me to bring them down the next morning to be washed, and said I could use a mop and vacuum to clean the room myself. Apparently one guy handles cleaning, and only between guests. When I moved the nightstand to vacuum, the dirt behind it looked like it had been there for ten years. At check-in, I was surprised by a $100 cash deposit that hadn't been mentioned when I booked. They wouldn't put it on my card, so I had to use the lobby ATM, which charged $3.50. When I checked out, the manager inspected the room and refused to return the deposit because there were a few marks on the white sheets, despite us staying a whole week. He said he'd try cleaning them and refund me if they came out. I wasn't leaving without my money, so I went to Target for cleaning supplies and hand-washed the stains myself. After checking them three times, he finally said they were okay and gave the $100 back. The whole experience was ridiculous and unacceptable. I'll never stay here again.

Getting around was easy, with nearby restaurants and attractions close by. My room was comfortable, clean, and well kept, and the staff were friendly and attentive to what I needed. I had a relaxing, hassle-free stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

I stayed here while my son was in a basketball tournament nearby. At checkout, my room was in good shape, with no damage, and I left it as I had found it. Still, the $100 security hold was never released back to my account. They kept the entire deposit, and I want proof of why it wasn't returned when there was nothing to justify holding it. This feels like fraud and a terrible way to do business. I'm taking the matter further because I won't just accept them keeping my money.

The rooms were dirty, and there was never anyone at the damn desk. They also don't take care of the parking lot when it snows. If you can avoid staying here, don't waste your money.
