For the money, I got privacy and a couple of good nights’ sleep. The bed was good and the linens were comfortable. I’ve seen dirtier places, though it didn’t feel particularly clean. Maybe it was well cleaned and just bleak. The staff were pleasant, and the person who greeted me, who I assume was the owner or manager, seemed smart and like he understood what he was doing. I met him because my room key didn’t work; the whole lock was faulty. The chair in the room was gross, dirty, and badly worn. Do they spray it for bugs? If you read this, get rid of the chair in 308, or don’t, you do you. They changed the linens daily, but when I stay more than one day I pull the bedding up to check it’s been washed. Because of the chair and broken lock, I gave the room 2 stars. A new or used chair, a secure lock, and reassurance from the manager that the bed has fresh linens would get it away from 4 stars. They offer breakfast, with a four-mini-waffle maker, very good batter, and syrup, but no protein. The juice dispenser didn’t work. They could add fruit, cereal, bagels, peanut butter and jelly, milk, and other options. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. I highly recommend paying cash. I used my card and now the $35 fee they charge for the stay looks like it’ll take a while to be charged back. Bring cash and they’ll hand you the $35 after your stay. Rookie mistake. A few ideas: promote paying cash, maybe add an ATM, put up signs pointing to breakfast, and add card-accepting vending machines. A fridge or small supply of drinks and snacks behind the desk would help too. A curtain over the door leading downstairs would give more privacy. The check-in area needs a full cleaning and fresh paint. They could add protein to breakfast, keep it open all the time, or extend it by an hour so people can eat when they can. 6am to 9am is a stretch for their crowd; all-day breakfast sounds good.

AJ was lovely and made me feel welcome when I arrived. Checkout was seamless, and manager Mankad introduced himself and made sure my stay was enjoyable and that U had everything needed.

The room was decent, and getting on and off the road was easy. But the toilet backed up during my stay. There was already a plunger in the room and it looked recently used, so this seemed to be a known problem. I told the front desk when I checked out. My $35 deposit still hasn’t come back, and my calls to the hotel won’t connect, so I can’t ask why they’re holding it.

I’ve been a long-term guest and have dealt with repeated problems. Housekeeping has refused to clean my room on the scheduled days, and ever since my room was neglected I’ve seen cockroaches there. TODAY I saw about 10 roaches of different sizes in my bathroom. Staff never seem to know what’s going on or have a solution when something goes wrong. It’s frustrating to spend so much money on one place and deal with roaches and poor customer service. I won’t be back, and I recommend spending your money elsewhere.
