Desert Moon Motel

The room was fantastic, with a great bed and a little stove, microwave, and fridge. Parking was a bit difficult, but I had an awesome stay and would come back for events nearby.

I love how upgraded and cute the rooms are, and getting my $50 deposit back within a day was great. There are no resort fees, and the value is phenomenal. The area may be considered “bad,” but I haven’t had any problems. I’d booked another hotel, then decided to come back here instead. I hope prices don’t go up, because they’ve earned my loyalty. I almost want to keep this place to myself so it’s available whenever I need it. I’ll share pictures soon.

The gentleman who checked me in gave excellent service, and the rooms were clean. I’d give the stay five stars on those points, but Natalie’s behavior changed that. She was the rudest, most unprofessional and angriest person I’ve encountered while checking into a hotel. I called because only $30 of my deposit had been returned and asked why. She claimed there was damage to the linens, which wasn’t true, and got upset when I requested an invoice. A few days earlier, someone else had assured me my full deposit would be refunded and had sent an invoice, so I was confused about the charge. I disputed it with my bank, which investigated and returned the money within 12 hours because she was wrong. I’d like to stay there again, but I don’t trust her with my card information. I’m concerned she might do something vindictive because she was proven wrong.

Check-in was easy, the hospitality was great, and parking was free. Our room was clean and spacious, and the location was good. It was quiet both day and night, unlike the noise you get on the Strip. I’d stay again.
