Days Inn by Wyndham Lebanon/Hanover

The route through a car dealership to reach the hotel threw us off at first. Once inside, the front desk agent was terrific, smiling, answering all our questions, and clearly enjoying his work. Our room was clean and nice; it felt a little humid when we first walked in, but that cleared up quickly. Breakfast was small but good, and everyone we met was fantastic. We’d stay again.

I still remember a front desk woman shouting at me over the waffle maker during breakfast. I didn’t know how it worked and needed a few seconds to figure out how to flip it. Another customer nearby helped me. Was she racist, or just unkind? I can’t forget that moment from my stay 7-8 years ago. The room was spacious, but old and smelled bad. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. You get what you pay for, and the cheaper it is, the worse it is.

The room was huge for the price, and clean, including the bathroom, which seemed fairly recently updated. I liked having a mini fridge and microwave. Staff were friendly and breakfast was decent. There’s no elevator, and the property could use some upgrades, but I’d definitely recommend it.

We’ve stayed here twice while visiting Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, which is just 3 miles away and very convenient for us. The staff are kind and attentive. They even put breakfast out before 5 a.m. for relatives who need to get to the hospital early. The price is hard to beat. Rooms are large and clean, though a bit dated. On the first floor, you may hear guests upstairs clomping around.
