The restaurant next door was quite good, but the rooms smelled bad. The TV plug kept slipping out of the wall no matter which outlet I used, and the manager was kind of a jerk. The prices are way too high for this place.

For an older hotel, I was pleased and would stay again. The room was cozy and had everything I needed for my 3 days there. The bed was really comfortable, the AC worked fantastically, and the shower had nice hot water and a great shower head. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly, and the room smelled clean when I walked in. A few things weren’t right: there were what looked like blood stains on the carpet, mold on the tub caulking, and the key card wouldn’t work each time I came back to the room.

Our phones started acting strangely at the place, and none of the plugs would charge them. Once we left, they went back to normal.

The location is close to several things, and parking is free and on site. The manager, who was also the front desk clerk, was nice and friendly. The sheets were clean, which matters a lot to me, but the rest of the room needed attention. The bathroom had dirty corners in the tub, though it looked like leftover cleaning residue. This is an older hotel with very little soundproofing. Some people live here, and their kids ran up and down the outside stairs, which was loud as hell. The mattress was super soft, like a whole mattress made of memory foam, and hard to get out of. My other half slept well, while I slept okay but woke up sore. I prefer a firm bed.
