Motel 6 Linthicum Heights, MD - BWI Airport

I left at last because a roach crawled across my foot while I was sleeping. I drove all the way back home to Florida, and left my stuff there because I didn’t want roaches in my car. I got no sleep in that place. There were roaches everywhere in the room, the toilet had black stains, the TV screen was so dark you couldn’t see it, and I was afraid to use the shower. The room was freezing because the heater kept setting off the smoke detector, so I finally went to Walmart at 6am and bought a plug-in heater. I tried it because it was cheaper than other hotels and I liked the location, despite the negative reviews. The other reviews were spot on. I arrived around 11:15pm on a Friday and saw about 30 people outside, with kids running, playing, and fighting on the balcony, and people sitting in chairs smoking and drinking. The stairs were dirty, with a trash bag at the top and a used condom in the stairwell. I’m going to have PTSD from staying here. Don’t stay unless you have absolutely nowhere else to go.

They had to move us from the first room, which had blood on the wall by a heater that didn’t work, curtains off their hangers, fecal matter in the toilet, spots on the floor by it, a filthy shower floor, peeling paint on the walls and doors, stains all over the ceilings, and a TV so smeared we would have had to clean it to watch. The next room had a new heater, but the smell of urine was so overwhelming we couldn’t stay. We gave up and demanded our money back. This place is disgusting on EVERY level. Trash was overflowing from cans on every floor, and there were pots and pans with food sitting outside several rooms. It was obvious people were living there, and people were standing around outside. I would NEVER bring a child into that environment. I uploaded just a few photos. Shame on you Motel 6 for letting what was once a really nice motel become such a disgusting, deplorable establishment.

This had to be the worst motel I’ve stayed in. The door locks were broken, and cockroaches were all over the walls and in the beds. When I told the front desk attendant, he said, “I have another room for you with no cockroaches”. Then he put me in a room knowing it was infested.

My stay at this motel 6 in bwi was absolutely terrible. There were rocches everywhere, from the shower to the mini fridge, and there were stains on the sheets and towels. I told the front desk clerk Ellie I was dissatisfied, but no accommodation was offered. Then they gave me the run around about a refund. Please go somewhere else, especially if you have children.
