We were able to stock up the kitchenette's full sized refrigerator before last week's snow storm, which made staying put much easier once the roads got too bad to travel. My family and I felt right at home here, and we'll be back. It was peaceful, clean, and comfortable, and all the staff were kind.

We still had no hot water after two days. The front desk manager was rude, and we had to switch rooms because the first one had so many roaches. The towels were low quality, much like the room and appliances. Both rooms had kitchenettes, but the stove didn't work in either one. There were only about 15 working TV channels. All in all, this place is poorly run and maintained.

There was a dirty sock under the bedding that wasn't ours, and the roaches were irritating and gross enough that we bought Raid ourselves. We also had to pay for towels and soap. The website pictures matched the rooms, but the internet barely worked because the signal was extremely weak. The linens were dingy, and there's no housekeeping on weekends. Nobody told us any of this before check-in. We only found out after getting to the room and going to the office with concerns. Housekeeping is slack and staff are very limited. Gary works six days in a row at the office, but nobody takes care of the grounds. Beer bottles, food, and trash were scattered all over the parking lot.

The front desk staff were nice and helpful, parking was plentiful with wide spaces, and other guests were pleasant and kept to themselves. The restaurant next door also has some of the best Mexican food around. I stayed one night and didn't have much to complain about: my room was clean, the water was hot, and I didn't see any bugs. The furniture wasn't updated or especially nice, but places nearby offer that for a higher price. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
