The lobby and rooms need to be cooler, and the bathrooms need hand soap. The main entrance, lobby, and elevators should smell much better. Most employees are nice, though they could do better. The pool room was far too loud for a clear conversation and needs to be cleaner. They also need more housekeepers.

This is usually my preferred hotel, and I love its location. I’d had no problems on earlier visits, but this three-day stay was unpleasant. I checked out on Feb. 16th and left a message for the manager, Beverly, asking her to call. By Feb. 26, I still hadn’t heard from her, so I called. She said she was only just getting to her messages. Really?

We live in town and came for a girls’ weekend to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. The front desk staff were very friendly at check-in, and the beds were comfortable. The room looked clean apart from food the previous guests had left in the refrigerator, which housekeeping hadn’t removed. We were in room 125, where the water pressure was barely a trickle, so showering wasn’t enjoyable. After dinner, we hoped to relax by the pool, but a group there kept diving, splashing near us, and horsing around loudly. They also brought food into the area despite rules against it. After several polite requests to stop splashing near us, we gave up and left. We told the woman at the front desk, who said she would run them out, and we went back to our room. We haven’t tried breakfast, so we can’t say how it is. We’d been enjoying the visit until we couldn’t use the pool or enjoy a shower or bath. It was aggravating when all we wanted was a good weekend for her birthday.

The front desk ladies were friendly and helpful, and I had a clean room with a comfortable bed and pillows. I’m very happy with my choice. It’s good value for the money, especially with the hot breakfast, including bacon and eggs, which many hotels don’t offer.
