The front desk team at Hyatt Los Angeles were friendly, professional, and attentive from check-in onward, always willing to help with questions or requests. Their warm welcome made the stay much more enjoyable. Amazing staff!

For an overnight near LAX, this was super easy. The airport shuttle picked us up promptly, and it came quickly again at checkout the next day to take us back. Check-in was simple, too. Our room was clean and bright, with what a tired traveler needs, and both the room and bathroom were a decent size. There’s a small cafe on the first floor for coffee or a quick bite. I’d recommend it to anyone needing a place near the airport for future travel.

The workout space on the penthouse floor was large, had a great airport view, and even included a Peloton. The room was nicer than I expected, with a great bed and shower. It’s very convenient before an early flight. I walked to and from Terminal 4 because I’d rather walk than wait for the shuttle, which comes every 20 minutes. It took about 18 minutes. For Terminals 1 or 2, I’d say walking is an easy choice. This is a really good use of a category 1-4 certificate for a night near LAX. Breakfast costs a ridiculous $38, but that didn’t affect me since I ate free at the Flagship lounge.

This was my third stay, and the rooms have gone downhill since I was last here in 2024. The sheets feel really cheap. Instead of a proper duvet, they put two separate sheets around the comforter, which I find extremely unhygienic. We asked for a proper duvet, but they brought the same thing. Service was poor at checkout, too. We asked where to catch the airport shuttle, and the receptionist vaguely guessed it might be in front of the hotel or inside the parking lot. For an airport hotel, staff should know rather than guess. We waited out front and watched the shuttle leave without stopping, so we had to wait for the next one and go into the parking lot to board. I’d recommend that staff coordinate with the airport shuttle.
