The Redline Venice

The Redline is secure, modern, and quiet even though it's so close to all the activity. My family and I had a great stay this week. The rooftop views and service are hard to beat, with plenty of dining nearby. The location worked perfectly for exploring Venice Beach and especially the boardwalk, and Abbot Kinney is an easy walk too. Already looking forward to coming back!

I keep wishing there were more Redline places to stay, because I'd go out of my way to book with them again. They're getting it right: the customer experience is great, the stay feels culturally relevant, and they honor local history instead of bulldozing over it like so many others. Their mission is to tell the untold stories of Venice Beach, and you can see the care in how they've curated the spaces. They're connected to the area's history and community in a way that feels unique, so staying there felt like taking part in a new kind of travel with purpose. My room had everything I needed for a safe, luxurious feel: bathrobes, a great shower, and a kitchenette. The private rooftop terrace was a surprise. The energy around the place is inspiring, and the people watching must be the best in the world for someone like me who has travelled a lot. It's a great pick if you've got a creative side. The Redline Venice was only a short Lyft from LAX, and I could walk to the Venice Boardwalk, Abbot Kinney Boulevard, and the Venice Canals. I loved my stay. Definitely go out of your way to stay here if you can!

The suite had a great vibe and was super cute. Beach access and the view made the stay for me. The sunrises were lovely, but the sunsets were even better. Loved it!

We'd seen other reviewers say the Redline went beyond their expectations, and we felt the same. The hosts made communication simple and clear, and our room was immaculate and beautifully furnished. Just steps from the lively center of Venice Beach’s Promenade, the location is fantastic, yet the place still feels private and quiet. The art and books, along with the hotel's purpose, made it feel like a living museum. We came away wanting to learn more about Venice Beach’s rich history.
