We had to stay here with my children, and the staff were fantastic. They did as much as they could with what they had. The rooms could definitely use updates, but the handicap rooms are large and accessible. I'd stay here again.

This is mainly about the booking site used to reserve the room. I booked online for three nights at $60 a night, but was charged $295. The only explanation was a refund protection program I didn't need, since I was booking for that same day. I ended up paying almost $100 more than the room cost, with no clear reason. This company robbed me and I'm pissed. Don't recommend it. Go anywhere but here.

The bed was uncomfortable and made a lot of noise, so I didn't sleep well. I also found the shower handle partly torn off and a sprinkler cover missing, leaving a hole in the ceiling. Those felt like maintenance and safety concerns, not small cosmetic problems. The room hadn't been cleaned thoroughly before I arrived either: there was a used tissue on the floor and half-open toilet paper rolls, which made me question the basic cleanliness.

We've been staying here almost two weeks and had no trouble until the Saturday front desk guy, as far as I could tell, hit on my wife and she rejected him. He cornered her in the stairwell while I was bringing our dog up to the room. When I confronted him, he got angry and is now threatening to kick us out over the dog. It wasn't an issue yesterday or during the previous two weeks. I've seen plenty of other dogs here, and ours is a service dog. I guess some men take rejection pretty badly, giving the rest of us a bad name. No wonder women choose the bear. I attached photos of another man with his dog. I didn't want to plaster his face everywhere or get him in trouble, so I only photographed him and his pup from behind. Where's the desk jockey's energy about throwing someone out when it's this guy? We're being threatened with being put out in the freezing cold, my wife and kids and me, after we've paid and been paying.
