Comfort Inn & Suites Lubbock (Ex Quality Inn And Suites Lubbock)

We'd booked a room with two king beds and a sofa bed nearly a month ahead. When we arrived, they first sent us to a room that was already occupied, then told us the room we'd reserved wasn't available at all. Apparently someone had given it away during the day. Really frustrating. The night clerk was super nice and tried to sort it out, but there weren't any other options.

We stopped at Comfort Inn on our way home from New Mexico, partly because we'd had good experiences before and I'm a Rewards member. Check-in was smooth, and the innkeeper was friendly and professional. The room was in good shape. We'll have the complimentary breakfast in the morning before we head out.

Crystal at the front desk was the only good part of our stay. She was polite and did what she could to help. We first thought maybe room 106 was the problem and asked to move. The other room looked just as bad, and its A/C didn't work at all, so we stayed in 106. That room was filthy too. The tub had rust, dirt and hair all over it; the mattress had nasty-looking stains; and the floors were dirty. There was caked dirt and mold inside the falling-apart A/C vent. The walls were marked up, and the furniture and desks were dated and coming apart. Don't waste your money here. It definitely wasn't worth $100. I can't believe the good reviews.

We booked a room during the freeze so my family wouldn't be without water, and the four kids and I had a really nice stay. The room was clean, breakfast was good, and the front desk staff were nice. We kept the room tidy during our stay except for one day, and the cleaning crew did a great job. We came back to fresh supplies and a little surprise: they'd put the baby down for a nap. My boys loved that small touch, and it made the stay for us. The pool was clean and nice too.
