The room quality was poor, and the customer service was worse. Our first room had bugs, and the replacement room did too. I have video proof. It was already midnight and I had my kid with me, so changing motels wasn’t an option and we had to stay despite the bugs. When I asked for a refund the next day, they refused and said they’d inspect for pests before deciding, but I still haven’t heard anything. Pure looters.

We left at 6:30 a.m., although we’d planned to stay until 9, because the room was gross and staff didn’t seem to care. The person on the lobby phone said nothing could be done until management arrived at 9:30, and we didn’t wait around. My brother and I both got bed bug bites. We handled our clothes carefully to protect our home, but still have extra work to do to be sure. I wish I’d taken more photos. In room 108, the bedding had burn holes, there was a musty smell, and dirt and debris were still visible behind the dresser after what looked like an attempt to sweep them out of sight. There was a four-inch gap in the bathroom ceiling between the light and what I assume was the vent, so critters could get in. We saw two cockroaches in the bathroom at night and another crawling lazily on the TV. Management seemed to blow us and our family off, with a phone in the lobby instead of a person. For your comfort and safety, avoid this place and spend the extra $20+ on a better-reviewed hotel. I don’t trust all the five-star reviews here; some seem purchased.

The early morning ended with us leaving fast. My son, in the room next door, came over to report roaches. An hour later he returned saying he’d found a bed bug and his brother had bite marks. We’d booked two rooms and checked for obvious problems when we arrived but hadn’t noticed anything. The rooms seemed clean enough at first, though dated and with badly stained carpets. The guys at the desk were nice, but the location was highly undesirable. At 6 a.m., no one was at the front desk, just a phone to call someone. We were told no one would be in until 9:30 and they’d make a note of the issues. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, but this was the worst experience I’ve had.

The desk clerk handed us Raid to spray for roaches that were everywhere, as if handling it was our job. They charged more than the reservation price, and we left within two hours.
