For the roughly $125 I paid for one night, this hotel was okay. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, but the place felt a bit out of the way. Ubers to the city center were about $20, though having a car would be ideal. As a guy in my mid-20s, I’d probably choose somewhere closer to the city or quieter. There were some small room issues. I found a strange red, pinhead-sized stain on one pillowcase, but checked the rest of the bedding carefully and saw no other problems or signs of pests. The room looked dated, from the popcorn ceiling to the shower’s bit of lime scale and a diverter valve that took some fiddling. Water pressure and temperature were great, though. Breakfast had a decent selection, but the dining area was a bit of a zoo with lots of families and young kids. Around 9 PM, there seemed to be kids doing something in the hall. I couldn’t hear them, but their mother screamed at them all the way down the corridor instead of walking over to get them. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but it did give me a sense of the clientele.
