Hilton Garden Inn Madison Downtown

The service is what made this stay stand out, even though the hotel itself is great. Cromwell Ramos really went out of his way to make our time in Madison enjoyable. He deserves a raise. We'd definitely stay here again.

After 22 hours of travel from Europe with barely any sleep, I arrived at the desk dragging myself in from my Uber. The two men there were funny, upbeat, and clearly wanted my stay to get off to a good start. Neil and his colleague had a Prize Wheel, and I won free breakfast. I made it to my room smiling, and could tell this Hilton Garden Inn was special. I've stayed 83 nights at Hilton properties in the US and Europe so far this year, and this location really stands out. I taught marketing at university level for six years, and Hilton Management should take a close look at how this team is trained, motivated, and supported. They're positive and focused on guests. The experience made me wish I could stay longer.

My wife was in the hospital, and the staff made a stressful time much easier. Cromwell, Maddie, Jai, Kenneth, and Dayton were especially good. One breakfast restaurant employee wasn't as great, a woman whose name might have been Vrisa, though I'm not sure. The hotel was clean and modern, and the food was fabulous, so order whatever you like from the menu. It was a wonderful stay.

Our rooms took a while to be ready, and we had to wait to check into one of them. The staff were very nice about it, though. It's a clean, well-equipped hotel in a nice location, and I like staying here.
