Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Manassas

The location was convenient and easy to get to, while the hotel itself stayed peaceful and quiet. Our room was comfortable and spotless, with quality linens and all the amenities we needed. Housekeeping paid close attention to detail, and the staff were warm, professional, and eager to help. The property is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, and everything was impeccably clean. From arrival onward, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxing, and the hospitality made us feel well cared for. We'd gladly come back and give it five stars, and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and great service.

Our family had a really enjoyable stay. The pool and exercise room were well maintained, and there was coffee available all day. Breakfast was included and had a good range of food, unlike the nearby Holiday Inn. The hotel was very clean and the service was great.

Jan 1-3 We chose this hotel for the pool and hot tub and paid extra so my pregnant daughter could join me. She and my grandson, who was turning seven, were looking forward to swimming. I called ahead and emailed to make sure the pool was usable, and was told it was. When we arrived, there was a sign saying the pool and hot tub heater were broken. I was told I could cancel, but we had plans for the rest of the day and no time to rebook and travel to another hotel. I should have been notified by text or email, since the reservation had both contact options. My complaint isn't that they couldn't fix it over a holiday. It's that I checked in advance, paid more than I would have at another hotel, and wasn't told about the problem until I got there. Apologies aren't enough when you plan ahead and make sure. I have to be back in the area two weeks later this month and will visit my daughter many more times. I'll stay at Comfort Suites.

I have no other hotel stays that could explain where these bites came from, so I believe they happened here. After a two-night stay, I noticed the bites appearing and reported my bed bug concern to the hotel the next day. They said I'd get a call the following day, but I was forgotten and had to call back myself a few days later. Reception said the manager would be in the next day and could return my call. Instead, I got an email saying they had done their own inspection and found nothing. I asked for proof and have been ignored again. They don't take bed bugs seriously here.
