Old Corner Inn

Michael was very courteous, and the owner’s friendly welcome and the Inn’s beauty made our stay. Built in 1865, it’s a lovely old house whose age is part of its charm. The rooms were comfortable, and there’s a beautiful porch for relaxing, plus a common room for games and family time. There’s no kitchen, but breakfast items, coffee, tea, and juice were adequate. The breakfast nook gets wonderful natural light. We’d recommend this place to people who appreciate old architecture and don’t expect a four-course breakfast. We hope to stay again when we escape to beautiful MBTS.

It’s a very cute old house, and the owner is nice and fun to talk with. The beds worked well even for my tall family, the internet was solid, and the simple breakfast came with strong, very good coffee, just how we like it. The main problems were the doors, which were extremely hard and loud to close, and the lock setup. Our suite had a hallway between our room and my kid’s room, with the bathroom in the kids’ room and no lock on the connecting door. Nighttime bathroom trips would mean loud doors and might wake the other guests, so we were left with technically no security. My wife is very security conscious, so I stacked heavy luggage in front of the connecting door. I’d still highly recommend staying here. The old-house problems come with the cuteness and novelty.

Michael, the innkeeper, made me feel right at home during my weekend in town for a wedding. It’s an old inn, and that’s part of its charm, so don’t expect a four-star hotel. It was a wonderful little place to crash, and I’d absolutely stay again.

Hello from Arizona. My wife and I just got back from two weeks at the “OLD CORNER INN,” and we didn’t want to leave. It was a comfortable, accommodating stay, with a real sense of the Inn’s history and warmth. The breakfast was great, and we highly recommend it.
