Comfort Inn & Suites Ballpark Area

Breakfast was fresh each day, and the women working there were great. The housekeeping staff were kind and kept the room clean whenever I needed it. I had to stay nearly a month while repairs were done at my house, and Jean, the Front Desk Manager, was consistently professional and smiling whenever we spoke, day or night. This is my go-to hotel now. The rates are very reasonable, and it's in a great area close to everything.

For a hotel gym, this one was really good: dumbbells up to 50#, a cable machine, treadmill, and elliptical. We were also close to everything we needed to do, and the price was excellent. We stayed three nights without a single problem. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. Jakk would come out, chat, and hang out for a bit when we were smoking.

The breakfast was a letdown. It ran out of nearly everything except bread and cereal, and there was only decaf tea. The fitness center was filthy and inadequate, and its hand sanitizer didn't work. Other things weren't working either: the TV remote and overhead lights were dead. The building's air conditioning gets about 3 out of 5 from me. Our first room was filthy, with rust stains and dirt on the sheet. The third-floor rooms were terrible, while the fourth-floor ones were better, but the whole hotel needs renovation. This is the worst Comfort Inn & Suites on the plant!

The front desk woman was kind and friendly, and the breakfast was good. We picked this place to be near Truist Ballpark and booked two rooms beside each other for our stay from 3/31 to 4/1. My son's room was fine, but my husband's and mine had several problems. The shower handle wouldn't turn past halfway, so there was no hot water and we had to take cold showers. Two lights above the bathroom sink were out, and the sink drained very slowly. I hate leaving a bad review, but after traveling from another state, I wanted a hot shower before bed.
