The indoor pool was the main reason I booked Sonesta Select Atlanta Cumberland Galleria for my son's 9th birthday, so the way staff handled our visit was a huge disappointment. We went down around 7:00 PM, when the pool was calm and only women and children were there. Carlos came over and told us we had five minutes to leave, sharply, without a polite explanation or request. I asked why we had to go when people were still using the pool and it was only 7 PM. Carlos was dismissive and rude and didn't clearly explain. He stepped away, then came back about two minutes later with an even worse attitude. We left feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable instead of having the positive birthday experience we'd hoped for. I understand pools have closing times or rules, but those can be explained respectfully. This interaction felt unnecessarily hostile toward guests who were trying to use an amenity they had booked the hotel for. I hope management looks into it and improves how staff speak with guests, especially families staying for a special occasion.

After a long day of travel, Carlos at the front desk really made my night. He was approachable, knows the area, and gave me great customer service. Super helpful and amazing. The world needs more love and more people like Carlos in customer service. Your company has a keeper.

Carlos made sure I was well taken care of throughout the stay, paying attention to every detail and going above and beyond. From the minute I arrived, he was welcoming, professional, and patient with all my questions, making sure I felt comfortable at each step. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to great service. He's the best, and I'm grateful for all he did to make the experience so good.

I've been staying here for business, and the hotel and location have both been wonderful. It's also extremely quiet, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Carlos is a delight to be around, professional and friendly, and always goes above and beyond to see that my needs are met. The service has been impeccable. I'd absolutely recommend this hotel.

The room and whole facility were nice, and the women working the shift were extremely friendly. The stay itself was amazing, but I found an extra $12 charge on my card for parking onsite. When I called, the man who answered said they don't hide parking fees and argued repeatedly that the fee was listed on booking. I told him no one had informed me and showed him screenshots proving it wasn't there. Since he chose to argue instead of removing a charge I hadn't been told about, I'll file a chargeback.
