Stanley House Inn

Our first night of the Honey Moon felt like a fairy tale. We stayed in the Buckhead room, with its huge bathtub and separate shower and bathroom, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in away from home. The temperature controls in the room were responsive. Every detail was amazing, and the staff and owners were attentive and accommodating. For a date night or weekend retreat, this is the place. 11 out of 10, would recommend!

The bed and breakfast itself feels magical, with a gorgeous, well furnished inn, lovely professional staff, and fabulous amenities. My October 2025 wedding here was beyond lovely. Meg and Sherry guided me through every step and helped me shape the wedding the way I wanted, making sure it all came together perfectly. Planning an event here is easy because everyone communicates so well and responds promptly. I’m grateful to them all for the hard work, and can’t wait for my family to stay here next time they’re in town.

We had our elopement at The Stanley House on the one day in January when GA decided to have a whole winter storm. Sherry and Meg braved the cold and went above and beyond to make it happen the way we’d imagined. We’ll always appreciate that. Most of our guests came from out of town, and we all stayed there. The breakfast staff were amazing and accommodated everyone’s needs. I can’t recommend The Stanley House enough.

The weekday breakfast was delicious and better than I expected, and the rooms were lovely and comfortable for relaxing. Being near the city center made everything easy to get to. It made for a fantastic stay, and I’d happily come back.
