We had to try three rooms because each had something wrong, and management seemed frustrated with us instead of apologizing for their mess. The place was nasty enough that, after a long day of travel, I had to get cleaning supplies myself. I couldn't let my family use the toilet, which had turned brown from going so long without being cleaned. The hotel smelled like marijuana, and the rooms were dirty, with ladybugs all over the walls and ceilings. The bathroom was filthy and its tile was peeling. There weren't enough washcloths, towels, or toilet paper, and finding an outlet that worked was hit or miss. I'd give it zero if I could. You're better off sleeping in your car.

I wouldn't recommend this place until it has new owners. We saw two drug transactions while I was sitting in the lobby and a woman going around the back with a needle in her hand. The owner said there were no drugs allowed on the property and that he'd cleaned up the hotel, but I saw what I saw. We arrived around 6:30 to check in, but the owner's wife had left to get her nails done, and we waited nearly two hours for her to return. I had said we'd be there around 5, but my autistic grandson, whom I'm raising, had a bad meltdown and we couldn't check in then. After the wait, I asked for a discount. The owner's wife called her husband, who had a horrible attitude and said he didn't care about my problems or family and didn't want to hear about them. They degraded me and gave no discount. We had groceries in the car that spoiled while we waited. We were meant to get a queen or king bed but ended up with a very small double. The comforter didn't fit, the air conditioner didn't work well, and there were no towels. When I went downstairs for towels, I saw the owner's wife give another woman a room for $35, while we were charged $67 for the double and got no discount. Her husband said she could do what she wanted whenever she wanted, and it wasn't his fault no one was there to check us in. We got so concerned that we called dispatch to ask someone to come see what was going on. Later the owner said I had an attitude and told me to leave unless I apologized. It was already 8 at night and I was ready for bed.

For $43, it was a wonderful stay, and we weren't bothered at all. The beds were comfortable, and we had cable, a mini fridge, and a microwave. The first time we stayed, the second-floor room was really nice. On our second visit, the third-floor room wasn't as nice, though it was still great for the price. The staff were awesome. The third-floor room didn't have a phone or alarm clock, and I'm not sure why, perhaps they didn't know those were missing. When we asked for another pillow, they didn't have one, but it was a Saturday night and the hotel was full. Thanks, Super8!

For one night and the price, it was a good stay. The TV was unexpectedly large and mounted on the wall. The bed was decent and had clean linens, and the bathroom was pretty clean, though the sink faucet leaked and had left marks from dripping for a while. The furniture was dated and quite worn. The carpet needed cleaning, and the chair cushions were dusty. Breakfast was minimal, but that was expected for the room price.

This place could be one of the worst in the system. We both had trouble sleeping on the very hard bed, both nights. Looking behind the furniture for outlets showed that area hadn't been cleaned. Would it break the budget to provide power strips? The TV had streaks down the screen and wasn't cleaned either day. Bathroom fit and finish were poor, with holes around the pipes, a loose shower rod, and a loose toilet seat that made for an interesting ride. On the first day, they provided only one bath towel for two people.
