The guy at the counter was solid, and the internet was decent: Wi-Fi reached 100Mb down and 23Mb up, what the government would call "Broadband." There are lots of places to eat within a block, from fast food to sit-down restaurants. The room was clean enough to pass the white sock test, but it was pretty small compared with other budget motels in Medford, despite being within $10 of their price. The AC blew cold, though it was noisy, as others have said. The small continental breakfast had a Keurig with a few K-cup roasts, bananas, apples, three muffin flavors, bagels, Jiff peanut butter, two cold cereals, cocoa, oatmeal, and tea. I didn't see cream cheese or milk. Water pressure was good, but the faucet and shower head were clogged. Water from the tub spout overcame the drain, and when switched to the shower head, the streams didn't sink, so I had to move around to get wet. The sink wasn't much better. Even with hot and cold both turned all the way up, the flow was a bit rough for brushing my teeth. The mini fridge in my room was unplugged, and you'll need to turn it up in back if you have cold items. There was a stain on the white drapes that I'm sure was blood. And the bed was hard, not just firm. Imagine a plywood box shaped like a mattress, with about a quarter inch of padding and a nylon cover. I like a firm bed at home, but this was like a stone altar from an Indiana Jones movie. I'd stay again if the faucet and shower head were fixed, the stain was gone, and there were a mattress you could actually sleep on.
