The clerks were polite and otherwise the service was good. They brought extra pillows when we asked, and a coffee maker for the room was available on request. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though the pillows weren't supportive. Breakfast is just oatmeal packets, granola bars, and fruit, nothing else, so don't expect a hot meal.

The care from everyone at the Boise, Vista property really stands out. Melanie and the team make people staying at Extended Stay feel welcome, safe, and looked after, and they show the same affection to the fur kids. They’re warm, accommodating, and even ask how your day is going. Thanks to all of you!

The room was noisy, and the third-floor hallway smelled strongly of someone’s food. Doors slammed and dogs barked for around half an hour. The heat worked, but barely. Our bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned either: the shower had streaks of dirt, as if someone had wiped it without actually cleaning it, and the hallway carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in ages. The beds were so firm they felt like the floor with a blanket on top, and the pillows were thin and hard. About 45 minutes before checkout, a housekeeper knocked while I was getting ready to leave. It came across like she was trying to hurry us out.

I was in a wheelchair, and getting around the room was a struggle. The heavy door swung shut too quickly, the iron was mounted too high for me to reach, and the shower bench was too far from the wall to offer support. The shower wand was also placed where I couldn’t reach it. The elevator broke twice during my seven-week stay. After the second breakdown, repairs were expected to take a week, and I was on the second floor. Staff members were friendly and helpful, but the rest of the stay was rough. During the first two weeks, coffee was hit or miss, there was no creamer, and supplies were missing. Breakfast was a joke, hardly breakfast at all, and hard-boiled eggs were about the best you could hope to find. I had to ask four times for a shower curtain after the room was cleaned. The TV internet and free Wi-Fi were so bad that Netflix kept freezing. I’ll never recommend this hotel.
