The staff were so nice and amazing, which is why I wanted to give this place five stars. But we booked specifically because the photos showed a pool, and there isn't one. There are plenty of other hotels nearby, close to the food court and the Baird convention center, so we paid extra based on that pool advertisement. It was a real letdown for the kids. If, like me, you check the pictures before booking, don't believe everything you see.
The location is excellent, with 3rd Street Market Hall right across the street for food, drinks, and entertainment. The front desk clerks were accommodating, and the hotel has a key card entrance. I can see why, since a homeless guy nearby was asking us for money as we walked in. My big gripe is the pillows. Marriott hotels and this Fairfield Inn, what happened to the puffy pillows? As soon as you lie down, these flatten into the bed. If they changed them, I'd definitely come back.
We stayed with our group for train-fest and had a great visit. The room was clean and comfortable, and Roberto was welcoming. He was a great example of outstanding customer service. Thanks so much, Roberto!
Clint and Cassie gave such selfless service that I felt both honored and humbled. The whole team seemed fully committed to a culture of serving others. Breakfast was great, the rooms were clean, and the place felt safe, but the people were what really stood out. Thanks, Clint and Cassie!
I was in town for a conference in August and was pleased with my stay. The location worked perfectly for the conference, and Milwaukee night market was cool. Marie at the front desk was awesome and always helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no fan in the bathroom. That seemed weird for a hotel.
