City Center Motel

Good value for the money. The place seemed recently renovated, and my room was clean and cozy. I slept comfortably and peacefully both nights I was here for work. I didn't take photos since their website already has plenty.

Jackie and Kevin have made City Center part of our football season for years. We're season ticket holders, and we look forward to seeing them each year, as well as staying whenever we need somewhere clean, comfortable, and very accommodating. They remember us by name and greet us with such warmth, no matter the time or place. It's like they're sharing their home with guests who need a place to rest, sometimes after a tipsy evening. They're wonderful people, and I always recommend City Center to anyone staying in Missoula. Go stay. You'll be glad you did.

With my son in college in Missoula, City Center Motel is my regular place to stay. It's affordable, the rooms are very clean, and the beds are great. I love this little motel.

We've stayed here plenty of times and usually had a good experience, but this visit was a real departure. The room we kept cost $20 more than the price on my original reservation. There was also a problem with the second room: I'd reserved two, then canceled one, but it was still listed under my name when I arrived. I was assured that night it would be canceled and I wouldn't be charged. The next day the charge appeared on my card. After discussing it with them twice, I was told I would have to pay for one night because they couldn't fill it. I have the cancellation email, but that didn't change things. I expected to dispute the charge with my card company. The other room was unusually dirty for a place we've generally found clean. There was rust on the shower floor, the wall mounted soap dispenser was coming loose, dirt tracked from the floor into the bathroom, and a sink that wouldn't drain because there was no way to lift the plug. Edit: They refunded the charge for the other room and made it right, which I appreciate. We've had good stays here before, and the location is useful.
