Motel 6 Missoula, MT

After the long drive from North Dakota, we were assigned room 318, only to find another family already there. The team handled the mix-up really well. William, the Director of Ops, and his trainee Larry quickly got us into the room next door and stayed friendly throughout. The motel was incredibly clean, with no residue anywhere, and it was clear the staff paid attention to details. Jonny, who cleaned our room, was the best. William also promptly changed my bills into quarters for the laundry, which was a lifesaver. The location works perfectly for travelers, and the view is beautiful. I'm glad we stayed here instead of the 'Come On In' next door. We got better accommodations, thanks to the staff. Highly recommend!

A nice, quiet place with extremely nice staff. The rooms and building are very basic, just beds, no pool or gym. I'd highly recommend it if all you need is somewhere to sleep.

We stayed in room 330. It was a modern, simple motel and very clean, with the basics you need, though our room didn't have a microwave. The tub was a good size for kids, but bring your own toiletries. Staff were really nice. Since this can be one of the cheapest places in town, I appreciated that they try to reinforce good behavior from guests. Could be the best deal around.

I had booked a room for the 26th and 27th so I could start chemotherapy at 7:30 in the morning on the 27th. I live in Hamilton, Montana, almost to Darby, and had planned to avoid the early drive to the Community Cancer Center, where my doctor is Linford. Then a family member died on the 26th, and I tried to cancel at 11 p.m. that night. The hotel told me to call Booking, and Booking sent me back to the hotel. No one helped me cancel or get a refund, so I lost the roughly $87 room charge. Tyson, the young man I spoke with, seemed like he truly cared, but said there was nothing he could do. I'm fighting stage 3 cancer and dealing with a death in the family, and this experience felt like the company cared only about itself. Motel 6 needs to show more compassion and raise its standards.
