Ginkgo Tree Inn

We stayed on the top floor in the Wedgewood Room and the Grand Ginkgo Room. Both were cozy and elegant, with their own private bathroom suites. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas, and the whole place felt festive and charming. We spent two nights there this past weekend and loved it. We chose the breakfast service, too. The owner made gorgeous, delicious French toast, a special touch. A warm, memorable boutique stay. We’ll be back!

Nick, David, and Layla made us feel welcome and looked after, with everything we needed. We enjoyed breakfast, which was delicious and just the right size. We also ordered the charcuterie board and wine, both beautiful and tasty, and had them on the balcony overlooking the gazebo and river. It’s a gracious home in a convenient spot near downtown restaurants and shops.

We were in town for my wife’s doctoral graduation and stayed in the three-bedroom, two-bath side of the house. Everything was brand new, and the place was amazing. The bed was among the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. I kind of want to find out what mattress they use, haha. I called ahead to arrange a surprise bouquet in the room, and the hosts were so accommodating. The flowers were beautiful. I’m sure it’s lovely in summer, but it was beautiful in winter with all the decorations, too. Thanks for a great experience.

We stayed one night for a weekend in town and had a lovely time at the Ginkgo Tree. The room was gorgeous, with a quaint deck for two where we could enjoy the summer breeze and sunshine. Arriving after dark was easy, and the staff were welcoming and incredibly helpful. Breakfast was beautiful, and they accommodated our vegan and halal dietary restrictions without any trouble. For a quaint, quiet, romantic getaway in Mt Pleasant, this is the place.
