Holiday Inn Charleston - Mount Pleasant

We’ve stayed at the Hotel Indigo a few times and would gladly return. The pool and live music made for a fun, relaxing atmosphere, and breakfast at Eliza’s was delicious. Our room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and we slept really well. The staff were great and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived.

I was unsure about staying outside downtown Charleston, but the lower rates won out over being within walking distance of attractions. No regrets: we saw more of the surrounding area, and getting into Charleston was quick. The pool is heated and open year-round, so I’d choose this hotel over slightly cheaper nearby options if having a pool matters. We did wish it had a hot tub, though. The rooms were quiet and the beds comfortable. Full cleaning can be requested anytime; otherwise, they do a limited refresh each day and a full clean on the fifth day. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, and there’s lots of lobby space to hang out if you don’t want to stay in your room.

We spent one night at Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant by IHG for a wedding and had a wonderful experience. At check-in, Samantha was amazing, and Jackson and Dorothy at the bar were just as lovely. Their kindness, attention to detail, and real interest in getting to know guests made for excellent hospitality. We look forward to coming back for the amenities, relaxation, and Mount Pleasant’s beautiful Southern charm.

The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, and made me feel cared for. Holiday touches around the hotel were charming, from tiny Santa hats on the alligator statues to infused water in giant Christmas-ornament bowls and hot cocoa and apple cider stations. The bar drinks were well mixed, and the food was excellent, with fresh, healthy ingredients and a good range of choices. The pool area was a highlight too. Heaters made it comfortable in cooler weather, there were fun games, and the infinity-style pool looked beautiful, like a little oasis. My room was spotless and relaxing, with a cozy bed and handy details like a bathroom mirror with a built-in clock and upgraded outlets for charging several devices. Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant had a fresh, modern, welcoming feel from the moment I arrived. The location was hard to beat, just minutes from downtown Charleston and the beaches, and close enough to enjoy the Christmas parade and fireworks from the property. This was a lovely surprise for my vacation, and I’d absolutely return and recommend it to anyone visiting the Charleston area.
