The front desk person was very nice and did move us to a better room, but I still give this place a 0. I only left one star because the form wouldn't let me submit a blank rating. The health department should assess it. We arrived at 11:30 pm, cold and exhausted after a long, hard 14-hour drive. We have a small cat, and not many places allowed pets, so we gave this hotel a chance despite the mixed reviews. I wish we'd trusted the bad ones. The sheets on both beds were stained. One bedspread looked like it had poop or the guts of a big dead bug on it, and that same sheet had a small, freshish-looking stain like urine. The sheets on the other bed looked as if someone had cleaned their shoes on them. They clearly hadn't been washed. Even the soap was used, put back in its box, and left open on the counter as if it were new.

The hotel is generally outdated, though it seems they've tried to make it nice. It was clean and had all the necessary supplies, with large rooms and a nice breakfast. The television was older and had poor picture quality. It met our needs for a quick overnight stop, with quick check-in and check-out. Worth the price overall.

The tub was dirty, the door looked as though it had been kicked in, and the whole hotel reeked of cat urine. There were stains everywhere. They offered a second room, but hadn't cleaned it or even made the beds. Absolutely horrible.

We left and found another hotel. The weed smell in the room and hallway, dirty carpet, and stained sheets and towels were gross, and we didn't feel safe leaving our vehicle in the lot. Even at 12AM, there was lots of activity: people loitering in the halls, moving in and out of rooms, and hanging out in the parking lot. We hadn't stayed the night. This place isn't worth saving a few bucks.

The rooms were decent, but the hot water lasted only three minutes before turning cold. That might just have been my room. Fine if you need somewhere for a night, but no good for a long stay.
