Cambria Hotel Nashville Downtown

We arrived at 3:30 pm on 2-20-26, half an hour after check-in, unloaded the car, and went to the fifth-floor desk, only to learn they didn’t have my confirmed Accessible ADA King Suite with Roll-in Shower. I was shocked. The manager showed us another room, but it had a tub and a bed much too high for me. I use a wheelchair, have limited mobility, and need an accessible room. I had to scramble through calls to several hotels, all of which were sold out. Luckily, Homewood Suites by Hilton on Church Street had a room that worked for us. I won’t stay at a Choice Hotels property again. The Cambria refunded my money right away. The photo shows my confirmation number and the room type I reserved but didn’t get.

The location and views were great, and the hotel was pretty, with a rooftop. The valet and front desk were helpful. We booked a king, but were told on arrival it had been taken, so we ended up with two double queens instead. No big deal, but it wasn’t what we booked online. The only room feature I missed was a microwave. My main complaint was housekeeping. Check-out was at 11, but they were banging on our door before 9. I said we’d be leaving and that checkout was at 11. Around 10, they knocked once and opened the door to come in. They quickly shut it and hurried off when they saw me, but it was irritating and made us feel rushed. I’d book again for the location and views, and hope housekeeping is more respectful next time.

Myles took great care of us from the moment we arrived. His enthusiastic greeting, good manners, and attitude made a lovely first impression. Upstairs, Parker handled check-in, and Myles made sure we were comfortable and got our luggage to the rooms. The ladies with me didn’t have to lift a finger. Cambria hires well. Everyone was so nice, and we had a wonderful time at the Cambria Hotel. The valet parkers and Charlie, the shoe shine man, were all kind and genuine. Every one of them welcomed us, asked if we’d had a fun time, and offered us water. We’ll be back in a heartbeat. Nashville is a wonderful place to visit.
