Every employee we met was genuinely nice and helpful. The front desk even kept our bags after checkout so we could explore before our late flights. After I got blisters from walking in the wrong shoes, they kindly dug through their bandage boxes to find just the right size and shape. Little touches made this a 10/10 stay. I got a personal email after booking to check in before the trip, and as a gold member I found a goodie bag in my room with a card written just for me. Highly recommend!

Jasmin at the front desk was outstanding with me and my older parents. She was patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, and gave us a great nearby pizza recommendation. It was the best slice I've had. The other front desk staff were pleasant and helpful as well. Our room was very small and was missing a fridge and microwave. The desk arranged to have one sent up, explaining that it normally comes with the room but had been removed for maintenance and not replaced yet. The lighting was the big downside for me. Like in so many hotels, the bright, stark white LEDs felt harsh and unwelcoming. I think hotels could stand out by choosing warmer bulbs, at least something with the feel of incandescent lighting. I believe this kind of light can affect health in both the short and long term, and emerging research may shed more light on how it impacts people and contributes to common issues they may think are normal. Even if LED is necessary, warmer lighting would make the space feel more inviting, like a home away from home.

We stayed for eight nights and found the staff really friendly. The receptionist was especially helpful: when we were due to check out at 11 and our flight wasn't until later in the afternoon, she offered to keep our suitcases for us. The rooms were cleaned every day, and there was a good breakfast selection each morning. Manhattan was just a walk across the bridge.

Breakfast runs until 10 a.m., and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and had a nice view. The place was clean and felt safe, with at least two subway stations nearby. Just right for a long weekend, and I'd recommend it.
