Hotel 57

We got a great room on the 16th floor, and it was quiet, clean, and spacious. The staff were impressively kind, and the price was hard to beat. I also appreciated needing a key card to use the elevators, which added a sense of safety. My wife had several hospital appointments for special surgery, so we turned the trip into a getaway. Hotel57 worked out really well. We also saw a Broadway show and got a true Manhatten experience.

Lovedddd my birthday stay here. The location was perfect for everything on my list, the room was clean, the shower water was hot, and the staff were excellent and accommodating. I’d asked for a higher floor but one wasn’t available, and the rooftop was closed for construction. No big deal, it just gives me a reason to come back in the spring. Hotel 57 is officially my NY hotel. Thank you!

The location is convenient and feels safe, and you’re definitely paying for that. The lobby also doesn’t match the room’s look at all. I was put in a corner accessibility room and had one of my worst nights of sleep. Every few minutes, a flushing toilet made a sound like furniture being moved, with pipes clanking all through the night. It made it impossible to enjoy the stay. For guests who need an accessible room, I hope they can’t hear that constant noise, or that maintenance looks into that side of the hotel so nobody else has to put up with it. It really took away from the stay.

We had a fantastic stay from Dec 20-24, and I’ve already made plans to book here again. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the location was great, within walking distance of several subway entrances serving multiple lines. We also had a profile view of the Louis Vuitton building, which was cool. The front desk was amazing and accommodating when Expedia messed up our reservation. The lobby is beautiful, and I especially appreciated the heater as we came in from 27 degrees outside. Thank you!
