Both rooms smelled like armpits, and the breakfast was stale, juice included. The waffle iron didn't work, and they need to vacuum. In the first room, there were condoms behind the toilet, toilet paper stuck to the floor, and paper in the toilet. I asked for housekeeping, waited 30 minutes, then called the front desk again and was moved to another room. Its thermostat was set cold and had to be fixed. Later I saw a bug crawl along the side of my bed. I was told I could speak to the manager that night about a refund, but then told he wouldn't be in until tomorrow. I stayed here last night, and it's the worst hotel I've ever seen. They won't get another dime from me.
The halls were filthy, with stains and French fries across the floor. Other guests ran and screamed in them all night, so before my nine-hour flight the next day I only got three hours of sleep. I had booked the same place for my return, but cancelled and found somewhere else. First and last time here. The room itself was clean and the bed was good, though the service could've been a little better.
The room was clean and nice, but check-in felt a little slow. At 11 at night we drove around several times looking for a spot because we'd somehow missed that parking was on the street. The air conditioning was set far too low, and I couldn't turn it down. I finally got up at 3 a.m. and shut it off completely. Breakfast didn't impress me, with toast and bagels among the options, though I can't remember what else was there. I skipped it and we stopped somewhere on the road later.
I got in at 1 a.m., so I was pretty much stuck there for the night. I wish I could get my money back and go somewhere else. This was one of the grossest hotels I've stayed in for a long time. I'm a flight attendant who travel blogs, and this hotel is yuck. There were pubic hairs all over the tub when I checked in, and hair and makeup on the bed sheets and pillows. I should've taken photos of the shower before washing the hairs away. I did get some pictures of the bed and pillowcases and posted them on Yelp. Basically, they don't clean the rooms. The place itself looks kind of how I'd expect a prison to look. I wish I could post the photos here. Needless to say, this was my last stay.
The bathroom ceiling in my first room leaked into the sink, where a totally yellow towel was catching the water. They moved me, but both beds in the next room had dirty sheets. I asked for clean ones and got only one set clean enough to sleep on. At check-in, associate Nigel got agitated when I asked why he needed to photocopy my ID and imprint my credit card. He said it was company policy, but when I asked to see it, he pointed to a typed paper that said no such thing. When I asked why he'd cited a paper without that information, he told me I could call the cops or leave if I didn't like it. He later said I could have the copies at checkout. When I asked for my ID and credit card copies then, I was refused. The man said he was the manager. After I persisted, he called Nigel, who confirmed he'd told me I could have my documents back. He returned only the copy of my identification. I don't recommend this hotel. It was cheaper than the other hotels in the area, but not worth the hassle or nasty conditions.
