During my month here, almost everything I needed was within an eight-minute walk in the middle of Brooklyn's shopping district. The staff were professional, friendly, and quick to respond, especially the daytime team. Mrs. Janet was the reason this New York stay stood out for me. I worked overnight shifts and appreciated how quiet and considerate she was while I slept during the day. She was remarkably proactive, bringing towels and supplies before I had to ask and even helping me organize my room when I was in a rush. Her kindness felt like motherly care, and she made me feel like family. Thank you, Mrs. Janet. She's why I'd come back again and again.

The airport location was so convenient, and the view toward the airport was welcoming. My room was cleaned every day, and the hotel was very clean with top-notch service. I was there for over two weeks and came to really enjoy the fresh food at the restaurant. The service there was amazing, too. I do wish the rooms had microwaves.

Nothing was terrible, but nothing was great either. The rooms are a bit dated, though they're not bad. Having a rental car on site is handy if you're heading out of the city, since the access road connects to the BQE ramps. It's a good spot for visiting the Brooklyn Bridge, and this side is much less crowded. Street noise was not too bad by NYC standards.

This was my first traumatic experience at a Marriott, and I'm disgusted and deeply disappointed by the poor service. I was in town for work when a family emergency meant I had to fly home for a day. I left jewelry on the nightstand in a hurry. When I returned the next day, my room had been cleaned and the jewelry was missing. I spent the whole day checking my bags and searching the room before reporting it, but found nothing. Hotel staff sent security to inspect the locks and said someone would contact me with next steps. After a week and several calls asking for an update, I finally heard that the case had gone to Marriott claims. My case worker, Kyla Uylett, was awful. She never answered the phone, replied to just one email about my case, then sent a final email about a week and a half later saying that policy meant they could do nothing about personal property in the room and that it was my responsibility. Why was I made to file a police report if nothing was going to be resolved? Why did I wait weeks and keep calling if the hotel would just find an excuse not to cover my stolen item? Nobody got justice, and they'll keep stealing there because they can get away with it. I also emailed Anthony Capuano and Gordana Valjavec. They said they weren't familiar with Marriott's claims process. It's strange that executives don't know how part of their business runs, let alone feel unable to help. They've lost a Bonvoy member. Poor communication, poor accountability, poor service.

Our room was huge, which really impressed me for a NYC hotel. There are two subway stations close by and plenty of places within walking distance. I didn't love the $30 destination fee, though it can be used at the bar or coffee shop, where they have coffee, pastries, and some hot breakfast items in the morning. The bar and coffee shop staff were very friendly. I'd stay here again when I visit NY.
