The location made it easy to get to attractions, shops, restaurants, and local breakfast spots. Downstairs there was a cosy fire and a seating area, though some of the seats were ripped. They used to have two bar areas, but neither is in use now, and there's nowhere inside to get a coffee or drink. They did give out free bottled water at reception. The hotel is nice, but dated and in need of upgrades. I also missed having a mirror by the sockets for doing my hair or makeup.

The location is great, and the staff are friendly. The lobby's nice too. But the hotel feels really worn out, and I definitely wouldn't stay again. The rooms look clean, though you don't really feel they are. The tile grout is mouldy, the carpets are old and stained, and the bed is so soft because it's so old. This place badly needs renovating. It's a decent base, but feels so old.

The location and staff are what make this place. Everyone was friendly and helpful, A+. The lobby seating was cool, and I would stay again. The rooms felt a bit dated and reminded me of a small cruise boat, with an unusual circular shower and mirror tile. There's no bar. It's more boutique style, so if you're after a traditional hotel room, book with one of the big chains instead.

I can't speak to the location or rooms, but the customer service was top tier. I called from the Midwest to arrange a surprise birthday delivery for someone I love and asked where I could order from. Brian at the front desk talked me through the options and what would arrive in time. He said they'd set it up as a surprise, or let the guest know if it showed up after they did. Thanks, Brian, you helped make their birthday special from far away!

After a 25-hour trip with major delays, we arrived at Royalton and found our reservation was missing. Isaiah helped us sort it out with a couple of calls and emails, and we got our room keys. He was really helpful and reassuring, thank you. The hotel's in a prime spot for Manhattan, and we had a lovely stay.
