Danuta made our stay feel personal. She's caring, hardworking, and knows so much. My family and I miss her and her lovely home, and I could imagine calling just to chat and say hello. The Victorian Bed and Breakfast of Staten Island is elegant, full of history, and interesting to explore. Every room we saw was beautiful and comfortable. The price was great, and getting into the city was quick and easy.

The hospitality here was so warm and friendly, I felt like family. I even got to meet the owner of this beautiful Victorian house. She’s an extraordinary woman, dignified, assertive, and full of character. I tip my hat to her and bow down! I'd give this place ten stars in every category. If you're looking for somewhere to spend vacation time or stay for business, check out Victorian B&B in Staten Island Ny. Thank you, Danuta, for the excellent service. I'll keep coming back.

Danuta provides what you need to feel at home, and she's an incredible hostess. The house is a real gem, historic and charming, but also warm and cozy. There are two screened-in porches, plenty of comfortable places to sit, books and other reading material, and appealing art. I'd love to stay again. Thanks, Danuta!

We've been coming every month for work meetings since last October, and each visit has been better than the one before. The rooms are comfortable and roomy, especially the one with the kitchen and the one with the lovely porch. Getting to the Staten Island ferry to Manhattan by bus or car is easy. This has become our home away from home. Danuta is a wonderful host and a pleasure to talk with, especially about the house's history and furniture. Breakfast is a generous spread of eggs, toast, vegetables, and bacon, and we treasure the conversations with her and the other guests around the table. Thanks, Danuta!

When a tropical storm brought 60 mph winds, coastal flooding, and torrential rain, the event I was traveling for was canceled. The business still kept my money for a service it never provided, without even apologizing. A policy is one thing; hiding behind it to take advantage of someone is another. I usually choose small, family-run, or independent businesses because I expect more empathy and respect than from chains. This experience was the opposite. I've never seen a deposit required for a one-night stay before. Owners, a deposit is something you get back. If I'd booked the HGI Express I was considering at first, I wouldn't have learned that this “small business” could be just as greedy as anyone else.
