The apartment made our four nights in NYC really easy. It was clean and roomy, and the subway was only an easy five-minute walk down the main road. William was so helpful, too. We even saw Law & Order filming at the top of the road, a fun surprise. We loved staying here and will definitely come back on another New York trip. Thanks, William :))
William was friendly, helpful, and easy to reach whenever we had a question. We stayed six nights in the Garden room, which was spacious and tidy. The East and West subway lines are both nearby, and the north side of Central Park is walkable. Cafe Latte was a relaxed, lovely spot for breakfast, and we’d happily stay here again. One thing I hadn't understood from the website was that the coffee machine, microwave, and other shared items are in the hallway for guests in both rooms. Our room did have its own fridge and kettle, and we put together a simple dinner there one night.
We were surprised by how roomy and comfortable the place was, and it felt luxurious to us. Central Park is within walking distance, and the subway is less than five minutes away. William was a wonderful host, too. My friend and I have just got home after five days here, and we're already planning to book again next time I visit.
Will made us feel at home, even thinking of the little things. He was cheerful, friendly, and always ready to help. The food coupons led to excellent meals with great service, and one meal was enough for two days. We’ve told our friends about this very clean, welcoming place. I’ve stayed at B&Bs in several states, and this one was the best. Thanks, Will.
I never actually got to stay at West 119 B&B. My booking was canceled and refunded, but nobody told me. I only discovered this four days before my Labor Day wedding, after having booked more than a month ahead. The owner said he had emailed me, but I’m still waiting for him to forward that email. He also claimed we’d already talked, though that was our first conversation. I appreciate that he refunded me in full, but it left me and my bridesmaids scrambling for an affordable place at the last minute. He said he had people coming over. I’d replied to my confirmation email several times that week with check-in questions and got no response. I was really disappointed, since I’d been looking forward to the Garden room and the location near so many things. I ended up at a nice hotel in Yonkers, but it was much farther away. Call him to confirm your stay.
