We stayed one night on 10/18 for the Newport Pell Bridge Run 2025. Alexis greeted us when we arrived a few hours early and offered to text when the room was ready, which she did. The five-room inn felt cozy, and both our room and bathroom were very clean. It’s about a seven-minute walk into town for shops and restaurants. Alexis had freshly baked pies for the morning, along with breakfast, coffee, tea, and assorted juices. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Alexis!

After staying in the master bedroom, I’d say the price was justified. I was on my own, but the queen bed could easily fit two or more people, and there was a couch for another guest if needed. The A/C worked well during the July summer heat. The Henry Collins Inn is near the heart of lovely Newport Rhode Island, with the coastline, bars, and food all a 2-20 minute walk away. Alexis, the host, was generous, kind, and knowledgeable. She made a great breakfast and shared tips on getting around, places to visit, and Newport’s history. I’m finally home and settled, and I’d highly recommend booking here. I’ll come back if I visit Newport Rhode Island again.

The bedrooms were clean and really comfortable, and the homemade breakfast was so delicious I can’t put it into words. This lovely inn was about ten minutes from downtown and a delight to stay at. It felt like my grandma’s house, only run by someone much younger. I highly recommend it.

Alexis, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating. This small historic inn is close to downtown Newport’s businesses and sights. We loved the breakfast of cereal, nuts, fruit, and homemade peach pie. We’ll come back on a future visit.

We stayed three nights for the Newport Marathon and got two rooms at prices below most hotels that weekend. Alexis keeps the B&B clean and comfortable, and she knows a lot about the area. Breakfast on the weekends was fantastic and homemade, with several kinds of pie. Shops and restaurants, including White Horse Tavern, were within walking distance, and off-street parking was included. We really enjoyed our stay.
