We loved this hotel for the whole week. The room was cozy and we slept really well. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had in a while, with lots of condiments and toppings. The manager was nice and checked in with us each day, and Erica at the front desk was so friendly and took great care of us. Even the ice was great! I was a little apprehensive about staying here because of the 3.9 review score and the negative reviews. I don't know where those people stayed, but this Fairfield went the extra mile and made our visit a happy one. Do yourself a favor and book a night or two.

The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable for my one-night stay. The location worked well for getting to my destination, and the open parking lot had plenty of spaces. I didn't worry about vandalism or anything like that. I didn't get to try breakfast, but I think it would've been worth experiencing. 8.7 out of 10.
The staff here really cared about their customers. I can't remember the manager's name, but when USAA caused trouble with our reservations, she treated my brother and me like family. Her cousin was also always helpful and incredibly friendly. The rooms were great, with lots of restaurants nearby, and Charleston was only a 20-minute drive. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit. Thanks again for all the help!
We didn't try the breakfast. For about $100 a night, though, the stay was good value with breakfast included. Personally, I'd pay a little more to stay somewhere else next time. The front desk staff were friendly, the beds and pillows comfortable, the rooms clean, and the internet good and reliably available. The downsides were poor soundproofing, so we could hear everything from next door and the hall, and we ran out of hot water for showers on both Friday night and Saturday morning.
Service and breakfast were fine, about what I expected. The beds were old and worn out, and when my son was in the bath trying to scoop out “the gross stuff” with a cup, I made him get up and shower instead. I figured there was probably a reason this place cost around $50 less than comparable hotels. It doesn't meet the usual Fairfield standard. If you can swing a few extra bucks, I'd spend them elsewhere.
